Warriors’ Draymond Green fires back at Grizzlies ‘clown’ Dillon Brooks: ‘You’re a fan’

Warriors Draymond Green fires back at Grizzlies clown Dillon Brooks

The Golden State Warriors’ Draymond Green has never been one to hold back his thoughts, especially when it comes to defending his team and teammates. On Friday night, after the Warriors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, Green took aim at Grizzlies player Dillon Brooks for what he deemed disrespectful behavior on the court.

“I just don’t understand why Dillon Brooks is always starting stuff,” Green said in a postgame interview. “You know, he’s just a clown. And I’m not going to entertain that.”

Green’s comments came after Brooks appeared to taunt Warriors player Juan Toscano-Anderson during the game, leading to a confrontation between the two players. Brooks was also seen laughing and clapping after a foul call against the Warriors, which Green took issue with.

“You’re a fan,” Green said of Brooks. “You’re in the game talking sh*t like you’re a player. You’re not.”

Despite Green’s strong words, Brooks didn’t seem too bothered by the comments. In fact, he took to social media to defend himself, posting a picture of himself laughing during the game with the caption “Mood forever.”

The exchange between Green and Brooks is just one example of the heated rivalries that can develop on the basketball court. While some may see it as just another day in the NBA, others argue that players should maintain a level of sportsmanship and respect on the court.

Regardless of where you stand on the issue, it’s clear that Green isn’t one to back down from a fight, whether it’s with the opposing team or his own teammates. And while some may view his outspokenness as a negative, others see it as a sign of his passion and commitment to the game.

At the end of the day, it’s up to each individual player to determine how they want to conduct themselves on the court. But one thing’s for sure: when it comes to Draymond Green, there’s never a dull moment.
