Kevin Durant’s ‘insane’ Streak of Not Playing in Front of Warriors Fans Continues, but ‘a Lot of Love’ Awaits

Kevin Durant’s move from Oklahoma City Thunder to the Golden State Warriors had many tongues wagging in the NBA world. The former league MVP was seen as a key addition to the already formidable Warriors lineup and there was much excitement about the prospect of seeing Durant in action alongside Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

However, Durant’s stint with the Warriors has been plagued by injuries and bad luck, and he has yet to play in front of his new team’s fans at Chase Center. The COVID-19 pandemic has made matters worse, with NBA games being played without fans in attendance.

This brings us to the ‘insane’ streak of Kevin Durant not playing in front of Warriors fans. Durant has yet to make his debut at Chase Center, which opened in September 2019. This means that nearly two years have passed since he signed with the Warriors and there has yet to be an opportunity for fans to see him play on his new team’s home court.

Despite this, Durant has impressed fans with his performances on the court. He has seamlessly integrated himself into the Warriors’ system and has become one of their most consistent performers. His shooting has been sharp and his defense has been solid, and there is little doubt that he will continue to be a key contributor to the Warriors’ success.

While fans have not been able to see Durant play in person, he has been feeling the love from Warriors Nation. He recently spoke to the media about the support he has received from fans, saying, “I feel a lot of love out in the Bay, just walking around the streets.”

Durant went on to describe how the Warriors’ fans have embraced him and made him feel welcome, even though he has not played in front of them yet. He added, “I can’t wait to get out there and play in front of them. It’s been a long time coming, but I’m looking forward to it.”

The reigning NBA Finals MVP has also made it clear that he is focused on his rehabilitation and is taking the necessary steps to ensure that he is fully healthy before returning to the court. He has been making good progress in his recovery and is expected to return to the lineup soon.

While the current situation may be frustrating for Durant and Warriors’ fans alike, there is no doubt that his return to the court will be eagerly anticipated. The ‘insane’ streak of Durant not playing in front of Warriors fans may continue for a little longer, but when he does finally make his debut at Chase Center, it will be a momentous occasion.

In the meantime, Warriors’ fans continue to show their support for Durant, and the player himself is looking forward to bringing his talents to the Bay area. With a lot of love waiting for him, Durant will undoubtedly feel right at home when he finally takes the court in front of his new team’s fans.
